A collaborative space for adolescents to find their voice, regulate their nervous system, and reclaim their resilience
Adolescence is a powerful season of transition—a time for self-discovery, establishing autonomy, and navigating an increasingly complex world. In my practice, I view therapy not as a place to "fix" a problem, but as a partnership rooted in empowerment. I provide a grounded, non-judgmental environment where teens are the experts on their own lives, and I am the guide helping them navigate the terrain.
A Client-Centered Approach to Healing
We move beyond traditional talk therapy by focusing on the connection between the mind and the body. Using advanced, neuro-biological tools like EMDR and Brainspotting, we work together to:
In this space, your teen’s voice is the priority. Together, we build the somatic skills and internal resilience they need to thrive—not just for today, but for the years to come.
Your partnership is vital, and your teen’s journey is uniquely their own. As a parent, watching your teen struggle can feel overwhelming, but I believe that every young person has an innate capacity for growth and resilience. My approach is deeply client-centered, meaning I honor your teen’s autonomy and focus on empowering them to understand their own inner world.
Instead of viewing a teen's behavior as "difficult" or "defiant," we shift the lens to their physiological state. Often, what looks like "acting out" is actually a dysregulated nervous system stuck in a survival response—like fight, flight, or freeze.
By prioritizing nervous system regulation, I empower your teen with the somatic tools they need to navigate stress. As they learn to move from a state of survival into a state of safety, they often find it easier to communicate, connect, and thrive—which naturally fosters a more peaceful environment for the whole family.
Below is a list of the common challenges I support teens through. This is a starting point for our work together, but I am always open to hearing your specific concerns. If there are other areas you’d like us to explore, please let me know. I am committed to being transparent about my scope of practice and will always let you know if I am the right fit to support your teen's unique needs.
I truly appreciate the trust you place in me to walk alongside your teen during this season of their life.
